Disaster Plan is the formal identity for the long term collaboration between Julia Taudevin and Kieran Hurley. Our past work together has produced award-winning and internationally acclaimed theatre shows such as Hitch, Beats, Chalk Farm, Rantin, Heads Up and Blow Off. Our projects as Disaster Plan include Made In Scotland 2021’s flagship production, the epic beach production Move; Tero Buru, the first play from beloved Kenyan-Scottish singer song-writer Beldina Odenyo, produced in partnership with the National Theatre of Scotland; The Gaza Monologues presented in partnership with Stellar Quines and the Lyceum Theatre; and remounts of Hurley’s hit shows Hitch (Traverse 2024) and Heads Up (Shedinburgh 2025).
